Ramses Barden 254

Ramses is pronounced “RAHM-Cease” or “RAM-sees”. Born to Al Barden, New York street basketball legend and Natural History enthusiast and Denise Altemus-Barden, a lifetime honor roll student, ‘Week of Freedom Gemini’ flowerchild. Watered, nurtured, unfolded, and freed in Altadena, Los Angeles in Southern California.

Ramses has always been a gifted athlete on the surface, while maintaining a meticulously inquisitive and studious nature with regard to the world around him. He is a student in practice of art, evolution, love, and curiosity.

Ramses was recruited to play either football or basketball at each but one of the Ivy League schools before deciding to stay in California and lead Cal Poly Mustangs to 2 Great West Conference Championships, 2 Division 1-AA playoff appearances – break Jerry Rice and Randy Moss’s Touchdown records (50 TDs), be twice unanimously named All-American, Dean’s List student, and a known leader in the communities in which he’s called home for whatever duration.

Ramses was drafted in the 3rd Round in the NFL Draft to New York Giants as a Wide-Receiver, and now bringing his Superbowl experience, expects to share his leadership and intangible winning culture to the Buffalo Bills for the 2014 Season and beyond.

Ramses has a unique holistic approach to charitable work and is currently heavily involved off-the-field in mentoring young men and women regardless of circumstance and availing himself as a seasoned motivational speaker for all venues. Ramses’ got his first teaching experience during a Summer skills enrichment program when he was 15 and has enjoyed sharing his unique intellect and life experiences since.

Along with a blossoming modeling career, Ramses has participated in NFL’s Pro Hollywood Bootcamp, a weeklong crash course seminar into the depths of modern film. He has since starred in a short film “Plottin’ on Ceaser, The Woman Pleaser”, directed by Robert Townsend and appeared in feature film “Draft Day” starring Kevin Costner. Ramses has developed a knack for the broadcast booth and has already called several collegiate basketball and baseball games. He continues to pursue broadcasting and hosting in all arenas as a platform for spreading his holistic message of connectedness and love.

Ramses has been featured in several publications and media outlets as a highly gifted intellectual as well as a physical anomaly. Edge Magazine feature entitled “One of a Kind” describes him as “what is left of the Harlem Renaissance.”

His Humble demeanor and playful smile tend to mask the brilliance at home in his spirit. He has become a full-fledged Vegan and will invite others to know that their own beauty and magnificence lies inside waiting to unfold and manifest their own artistic expression of the Universe.
